BopIt! GB
BopIt! GB is a fan game that aims to recreate the BopIt! experience on Gameboy.
This has no connection to Hasbro Games and is available completely free of charge.
I was scrolling through my ROM collection, and I was shocked that BopIt! never received a Gameboy game in the late 90's / early 00's.
So I made it myself.

How To Play:
Using the D-Pad and A, highlight the appropriate section and trigger it.
| PULL IT! | BOP IT! | TWIST IT! |

- Single Cartridge Multiplayer (Pass It!)

And that's it! All the rest is timing ;).

Okay I figured out the bop it at the beginning doesn't count but I still had trouble at 1st cause I didn't know what the thing sound like I know there's not much you can do but you could at least add it optional beep bop mode Once I figured it out though it was easy very good game
Thanks for playing!
You're not the only one who thought the initiating "BopIt" was the first command! If the time comes that I revisit this concept, the "Start" sound will be changed to something else, like "Let's Go!", "Get Ready!", or something like that.
That is the thing I've noticed most of all when witnessing playtests in real life. So you're not alone, and I will change it if/when there's a sequel.
I don't know what you mean by "beep bop" mode, but I agree that there should be some sort of tutorial in place. That was in my original design, but I ran out of time and that feature was easy to omit (I hadn't even started on it!).
In my imagination, if this game had been real and released on cartridges, then the instructions would be listed in the game manual, which I list on the main Itch page.
But like I said before, if the time comes that I work on another digital BopIt, I'll revisit the tutorial idea. I think it would be a great help to new players. After all, it isn't 1996 anymore!
It's killing me even though I bop it
Dude this is really well made!!!! Would LOVE to see a bop-it extreme 2 variant of the game made for a system that could support the 5 buttons needed for that version of bop-it.
Perhaps the Sega Genesis with the 6 button controller, or the SNES could work.
The GBA could also be viable, with emulators handling a comfortable button remap for the select button that'd be needed to run that on a GBA.
I'd be willing to pay for a bop-it Extreme 2 variant of the game if you ever made that.
I used to play on a physical one for HOURS with someone who used to be a friend back in 2009, and I've been "chasing the dragon" so to say, ever since
Thank you for playing!
You're the second person to ask for BopIt Extreme! (Well, the first to specifically ask for Extreme 2) I don't have any immediate plans to start work on a sequel, but you're not alone in asking, and I do hear you!
This is a great idea! Legit fun to play too.
Thank you for playing!
